Our Moral Imperative

At Raised, we believe we have a moral imperative to positively impact as many children as possible to ensure each has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their family structure or background.

 

Children raised in single-parent households face unique challenges and hardships due to circumstances beyond their control. They are more likely to experience poverty and financial instability, negatively affecting children's health, education, and overall well-being. Additionally, their single parents often struggle to balance work and caregiving responsibilities, limiting their ability to provide emotional support and guidance to their children.

 

Through the support of donors, volunteers, and partnerships with corporate and government organizations, we can work together to provide essential resources;  job and career planning, mentorship programs, childcare services, and educational opportunities. When we support these children, we are investing in the future of our communities and creating a stronger and more equitable society.
